Rouen

Capital of Normandie

Rouen is the largest city in the Normandie region. It has a a very rich history, as it had an important role during the Hundred Years' War between France and Great-Britain. It is a very picturesque city, with charming half-timbered houses. Its university, University of Rouen-Normandie, welcomed 45 000 students in 2021. The city of Rouen is also the location of engineering schools (INSA Rouen, for example) and business school (NEOMA Rouen).
