Capital of Brittany

Nantes is the biggest city in Brittany. It is located along the Villaine river, 55 km away from the English Channel. Its heritage includes the Couvent des Jacobins, the Saint-Pierre Cathedral, or the Palace of Commerce. The city welcomes 66 000 students every year. It hosts two university, the University of Rennes 1 and 2, but also business schools, such as Rennes Business School, and engineering schools, such as INSA Rennes.
